Fitness Classes
These classes are completely beginner friendly, and ground-based. We do not use the aerial equipment at all in these classes, but they provide important cross-training for aerial students! These classes accept fitness credits.
Juggling
This fun, laid back class focuses on partner exercises that build coordination, as well as solo exercises to build up to achieving a three ball cascade. More advanced topics can also be accommodated by request. Come alone or with a partner! NO experience (or coordination) required! Intended primarily for adults, but open to ages 14+. If weather permits, we might move outside.
Mindful Modern
Mindful modern is a class for dancers of all levels. It combines modern dance choreography and techniques with those of improv dance. The purpose of this class is to explore how dance and improvisation can be used for reflection, processing, and composition.
Advanced Dance Fusion
This class is for dancers with some experience in taking class and learning choreography. We will focus on combining different dance techniques and creating new choreography together!
Beginner Modern Dance
This class is open to folks of all experience levels. Learn the basics of modern dance. This technique class will build core strength and add fluid quality to movement, and allow dancers to express themselves through dance.
Sexy Jazz
This class is for dancers with some experience. Sexy jazz is a fun flirty take on traditional jazz dance class. You'll learn some technique while applying influences from burlesque and other sexy dance styles. Our goal is to promote confidence and empowerment through dance. All bodies welcome. Heels are optional!
Hotcakes Burlesque
Intermediate to Advanced Burlesque. This class takes the basics learned in Piece of cake and expands into floorwork, advanced turns, and a few tricks. This class is to help step up your burlesque game. All are welcome. Knee Pads encouraged.
Improv! But Make it Sexy!
Have you ever been in a situation where you want to move your body but don't know where to start? Maybe at the club trying to catch someone's attention, onstage and you forgot the choreography, or even at home and feeling overwhelmed trying to dance your cares away. This class will help to feel the comfort and ease of movement without overthinking while also keeping it a little spicy!
Intro to Boas
Are you interested in learning how to use boas to create movement in a dance? This class will cover the beginning techniques to use boas including: How to hold them, different ways to carry them, how to form shapes, some basic turns, and shimmies and shakes. Owning a boa is not required, there will be plenty at the studio.
Piece of Cake Burlesque
An all abilities adaptable beginner course with no floor work or jumping. Learn the basics of burlesque in a stress-free environment. Wear clothes to move in. Heels are not required. All are welcome in this class.
Sexy Duo
Want to learn how to dance for someone special? In this class we will learn the basics of giving a lap dance and how to effectively move from the floor to standing around a chair. We will be partnering up for this class but it is also open for dancing on an empty chair if you don't want to be partnered. Wear something easy to move in heels preferred but anything will work! Learning a combination.
Liquid Motion
Liquid Motion is a sensual movement class that uses floor work techniques. Its methodology can be applied to all types of movement. This class will teach the Liquid Motion fundamentals and will teach students sample sequences. All levels and bodies are welcome. Socks or heels and knee pads are strongly recommended.
